The Arab Survey & Salvage Office and Loss Adjustors is a surveying company that was established in 1953 and is registered as a National & International Company (ASSO Group & Loss Adjusters Int.). It is one of the biggest Egyptian organizations dedicated exclusively to Marine Surveying, Non-Marine Surveying, Hull Surveying, Loss Assessor, Claims Adjusters Agents, Cargo Superintendence and all Marine technical services. Our headquarter is in Alexandria, and our branches are in Cairo and Port Said. Moreover, our main office is located in Alexandria, in Kafrabdou, Roushdy. .

MEET OUR TEAM
- 1953 – 2011
- Founded and established by Atef Hassan Ismail until 2011.
- He had a vision to open his own niche company in his time and expand to countries abroad, in
which he has proudly made come true. When he first opened the company, he managed to take over
the market in the inspection of Timber Business and Safe Delivery.
- His company managed to be one of the first successful marine surveying companies in Alexandria,
Egypt.
- He had branches in Cairo, Port Said, Suez, Greece, Finland and Spain. Which unfortunately had to
shut down after his passing.
- 2011 – Present
- Transition of honorable ownership to Maggy Atef Hassan Ismail, who eagerly studied every aspect
of the business and kept it running in Alexandria, Egypt, till this very day.
- She has a vision to grow and adapt to the dynamic market and to always find new ways to become
the number one marine surveying company in Egypt. With her fresh mindset and passion, it has
already gotten the company so far.
- 2012 – Present
- Moataz Moustafa Sidahmed became the COO – Board Member, the son of Maggy Atef Ismail. He is in
charge of the Marine and Non-Marine Departments at ASSO. Moataz is very goal-oriented and he has
the same wide vision as Atef Ismail, which is to expand abroad. He is very keen to reach it one
day, with his ongoing drive that keeps him always alert to reach that goal.
- 2018 – Present
- Youssef Moustafa Sidahmed also became the COO - Board Member. He oversees the Cargo Claims
Department at ASSO. Youssef strives to use his expertise in the field to gain more insight and
apply it for business development. With his rising ambition, it is safe to say that it will be
very unchallenging to do so.
- 2018 – Present
- Nidya Moustafa Sidahmed has opened an HR/Marketing department at ASSO, she is aiming to develop
the company in ways that can make a difference in a spectacular way. To make sure the employees
and clients are all satisfied and happy, as when those two are aligned and present, the company
will surely speak for itself and grow.
